Do you have to pay for a volunteering partnership?
At Bookmark we have a huge need for volunteers to meet the demand we’re seeing from schools, and so we don’t want cost to be a barrier to people signing up. Anyone is welcome to sign up to volunteer individually with Bookmark at no cost to them or their organisation, however if you would like to develop a corporate volunteering partnership, then we would seek a donation to cover our onboarding and delivery costs. We would tailor our partnership engagement based on your organisation’s needs, but typically we would offer:
- A dedicated Account Manager who will work with you to design an employee engagement plan
- Lunch & Learn sessions (in person or virtual) to tell your colleagues more about our volunteering programme and getting them signed up
- Opportunities for team-based volunteering outside of the reading programme, such as book packing days and book drives
Story Starter Packing Day
- Regular updates on your volunteers’ impact, including both data on hours delivered and testimonials
- Social media posts announcing the launch of our partnership and celebrating any milestones or partnership highlights
- And more!
If you would like to discuss this further, please get in touch (link to form) and our Partnerships Team will reach out to you directly.
