What are the extra resources for one-to-one reading programmes?

It’s great that you’re thinking about what resources to use in your reading programme! 

Rest assured, there is absolutely no obligation to find anything outside of Bookmark’s primary resource folder. We created our Online Reading Resources with the idea that it would contain a big enough number and wide enough diversity of resources (in genre and subject) that all the children would be able to read a few books that they’d really enjoy, and do activities related to these books or outside of them. 

Some volunteers that have the time enjoy using extra resources which are created by Bookmark volunteers and provide a wider variety of topics that may be of interest to children. If you want to peruse the extra resources available, you can find the stories and activities organised by topic in the Volunteer Created Resources folder in Vedamo.
